Ship Events Data

1944-10-04: Info Aris Bilalis: She was sunk on 04-10-44 by Allied aircraft in Volos harbour. The wreck was salvaged postwar by the Shipwreck Salvage Organization (O.A.N.) and was towed to Ambelaki in Salamis where she was put to sale in 1950. The repaired ship was registered at Lavrio (No. 9) as the GEROKARAGIORGIS (means "old man Karagiorgis") with the note that she is the former wreck of the 147 grt ELENI.
2017-03-00: Final Fate:
More info from Aris Bilalis in 03-2017: After 08-1973 there were no more entries in her pages and I assume that her last owners were actually Perama shipbreakers, although I don't see the reason why they switched register for a vessel that would be scrapped.
